Typical environmental assessments include:
- Assembly of publicly available information to include a records search of the property being evaluated, a current topography map, aerial photographs, and soil maps;
- Physical inspection of the entire site for any visible items listed by ASTM as possible indicators of environmental problems;
- Interview of the current owner and occupants, as well as adjacent landowners and other knowledgeable parties as deemed necessary; and
- Any additional information, such as zoning regulations and title searches as requested by the client.
